Mozilla Releases Firefox 1.0 Preview
The good folks over at mozilla.org this morning reached a significant milestone in the history of web browsing with the long-awaited release of Firefox 1.0 Preview.
Featuring an improved pop-up blocker, increased security against spoofed websites, a plugin finder service, and improved searching within web pages, this new version looks like it will send an already scared Micro$oft into sheer fits of terror. While Internet Exploder just gets older and more rickety, Firefox keeps right on innovating.
Also new in this release is a feature called "Live Bookmarks," which allows the user to access RSS feeds to view content updates from your favorite websites in the background. Of course, we're sure that you'll want to quickly add i cant think to that list. You can find the link at the bottom of the sidebar, nudge nudge wink wink.
So don't waste any more time. Go download it now, and wave your open-source freak flag proudly.
