Bush Receives Another Endorsement
All politicians want endorsements, and some endorsements are fiercely fought over, but this one may not be high on the President's list. Everybody's "Axis of Evil" fave, Iran, is now supporting the re-election of George Bush.
Hasan Rowhani, leader of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, believes the Democrats to be harder to deal with and that they will hold Iran accountable for human rights abuses. Rowhani also believes Bush did his country a favor in getting rid of the Taliban and Saddam Hussein. Maybe Rowhani wants to return the favor.
No word yet from the Bush camp, who have accused Iran of harboring terrorists, concerning this stunning endorsement. The irony is huge; a nation accused of supporting terrorism seeks the re-election of the accuser. Priceless.
The only thing that could top this is North Korea coming out in favor of the President. Maybe Kerry should seek that endorsement first.
