10:05 a.m. _ Murad Al-Tawil, 30, casts his very first ballot. Born in Iraq, he became an American citizen three years ago.
"I thought it was going to be hard, the paperwork, but it was not," he says.
In the days leading up to his visit to the precinct, he said he had read all of the literature he has been given.
"It's a good feeling when you choose your leader, when you have a say," he says.
Al-Tawil says he cast his ballot for John Kerry.
